W. Curtis Draper Tobacconist, (640 14th Street NW) Washington, DC's oldest full service tobacconist will be celebrating it's 124th anniversary with a weekend of events and a limited edition cigar by La Aurora. Events will be taking place Friday, May 6 at Drapers Downtown DC and the Patio at the Sofitel Washington DC Lafayette Square* and Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Drapers Bethesda. Draper's special guest for all three events will be Dón Guillermo León Herbert, president, La Aurora Cigars the oldest cigar factory in the Dominican Republic. To mark the milestone, La Aurora has produced The Drapers 124th Anniversary Cigar a very limited edition Sumo Short Robusto size (4" x 58) available in boxes of 12. Only 125 boxes have been produced.
The Drapers 124th Anniversary is comprised of:
Wrapper: Ecuadorian (same as the Guillermo Leon Signature Line)
Binder: Dominican Corojo (same as the La Aurora 107 blend)
Filler: Dominican and Nicaraguan (same as the La Aurora 107 blend)
