For the second game in a row Seattle Sounders FC waited till the dying minutes of a game to earn points.
Last week Sounders FC needed two of Clint Dempsey three goals in the final five minutes to earn a 4-4 draw against the Portland Timbers.
Keeping true to their late game drama form, Seattle Sounders FC received two goals from Clint Dempsey 22nd minute and the game winner in the 85th minute to earn all three points in there second consecutive road game.
Seattle Sounder’s FC Clint Dempsey has now scored five goals in two games.
“He is obviously a very important player for our team and he is trying to make sure he is ready for the World Cup because he is an important player for the US Men’t team as well, said Sounders coach Sigi Schmid.
FC Dallas scored the games first goal of the game with just ten minutes gone when David Texeira headed the ball into the back of the Seattle Sounders FC net after a wind laden mistake by Seattle goalkeeper Stefan Frei.
Dempsey leveled the game at one all on a wonder free kick at the 22nd minute mark.
Dempsey hit a 35-yard free that bent over the FC Dallas wall and hit the underside of the crossbar.
Michel gave FC Dallas a 2-1 lead just before halftime when he converted a penalty after FC Dallas was awarded the spot kick because of a hard foul by Seattle Sounders FC defender DeAndre Yedlin on David Texeira.
The game was tied at 2-2 in the 75 minute when FC Dallas defender scored an own goal.
Seattle Sounder FC’s Clint Dempsey scored the game winner in the 85th minute after a nifty wall pass exchange Chad Barrett.
