'Drakengard 3' Action RPG coming exclusively to PS3, leaked screenshots (Photos)

The "Drakengard" "Action-RPG" games achieved cult status, having released two titles exclusively for the PS2 and not releasing another since 2005. As reported by Polygon on Mar. 12, 2013, Japanese news outlet, Famitsu gave info about "Drakengard 3" in the works for the PS3.

There is not much known about "Drakengard 3" other than the two female leads, Zero and One. The two happen to be sisters and utilize an interesting power called "Utautai," the ability to use magic through singing. Strangely enough, their power is strengthened by being drenched in blood during battles. The more these girls are covered in blood, the more dangerous their singing becomes to the enemies they fight. It's safe to say that this new entry will be a gruesome, bloody mess mixed with beautifully gothic qualities.

"Drakengard 3" is currently being developed by Access Games and is comprised of many creators who worked on the first two games. The RPG is scheduled to be released this year in Japan but nothing points to a simultaneous release for western countries. An official Japanese website for the RPG has been opened if gamers wish to check it out.
