Drake has released a video for his debut single “Headlines” in anticipation of his upcoming new album Take Care.
The Toronto rap superstar premiered the clip yesterday (10/3/11) on his October’s Very Own website 3 weeks prior to the release of his sophomore album effort.
The “For Your Love” hitmaker released the Boi-1da and Noah "40" Shebib produced single on July 31, and has previously released 2 teaser tracks, "Marvin's Room" and "Trust Issues."
The Lamar Taylor and Hyghly Alleyne directed video portrays Drizzy’s love of his Canadian hometown and baseball team as fans witness the Young Money soldier standing center field in Toronto's Rogers Centre, adjusting his black Toronto Blue Jays baseball cap as the stadium's scoreboard lights up with the title of his October 24 album.
Take Care will be the follow up to the 24-year old actor/rapper’s platinum selling smash debut album Thank Me Later.
You can check out the video of “Headlines” at Drake’s OVO website.
