Drake notches 2 chart toppers on Billboard

Drake continues his rule of the charts this week, tallying 2 No 1 songs on Billboard.

According to an article posted yesterday (2/10/12) at Billboard.com, the Canuck rapper’s "Make Me Proud," featuring Nicki Minaj continued its reign at No 1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts, and he also notched a 12th record-breaking Billboard No 1 this week as "The Motto," feat. Lil Wayne topped the Rap Songs chart.

Last week, the 25-year old superstar Toronto, On native set a new record for most No 1 Rap Songs in the chart’s history, breaking Diddy’s previous mark of 10 chart-toppers.

This week, Drizzy became the 1st artist to replace himself at No. 1, since T.I. pulled it off in Nov/08, and also the 1st performer to hold 1st and 2nd chart positions, breaking his own record set in Sept/09 when he doubled up with  "Best I Ever Had" and "Successful."

The hip-hop heartthrob's “Club Paradise Tour” will hit 17 North American cities beginning Valentine’s Day.

The U.S. leg kicks off in Miami, FL at the Bank United Center on Feb 14 (2/14/12), and wraps on March 11 in San Diego.
