Dragon's Maze League prizes to include Bird tokens

A few months before the release of each new set, Wizards of the Coasts sends around notifications to game stores around the world, letting them know it's time to pre-order Magic product in time for the prerelease tournament and subsequent league events. The Dragon's Maze solicitation just went out, and we first learned from it that the Event Deck for this set will have ten rares in it. The League Kit advertisement certainly doesn't contain any real bombshell information like that - it's pretty much business as usual - but there is one interesting fact on it. Specifically, we now know the prize promo creature tokens that'll be given out to Dragon's Maze League tournament winners: a 1/1 white Bird creature token with flying, as seen on a handful of cards in the current block.

This might not be direct indication that cards that put that precise token onto the battlefield are going to be in Dragon's Maze, but it's certainly not a stretch to assume that. So far, only Eyes in the Skies and Seller of Songbirds, both commons from Return to Ravnica, have produced 1/1 white flying Bird creature tokens. 5/5 green Wurm creature tokens with trample are made by as many cards (though they're both mythics - Worldspine Wurm and Armada Wurm). For players to care about receiving this token as a prize, they'd definitely have to be able to use it in more situations. Odds are there are at least a couple of 1/1 white flying Bird token makers in Dragon's Maze, perhaps even a vertical cycle of them.

What do you think of this token as a League prize? Let me know in the comments.
