‘Dragon’s Crown’ on Playstation 3 gets pre-order discount from Amazon (Photos)

Amazon has discounted the Playstation 3 version of the upcoming multiplatform title, “Dragon’s Crown.” According to a listing update on Feb. 10 from the online retailer, the console installment of the 2D action role-playing game received a 20 percent price reduction from its official manufacturer’s suggested retail price tag. As a result, customer can pick it up for just $39.99. Vanillaware is currently developing “Dragon’s Crown.” The studio was previously responsible for “Muramasa: The Demon Blade” on the Nintendo Wii and “Odin Sphere” on the Playstation 2. Atlus, who is also helping out in development, is the publisher behind the upcoming title.

“Dragon’s Crown” was first announced for the Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita at E3 2011. The 2D action role-playing game was previously delayed from its original spring 2012 release. It is now slated to come out in North America sometime later this year.
