Dragon Quest IX gets perfect score from Famitsu

The highly anticipated Nintendo DS game, Dragon Quest IX, becomes the 10th title to get a perfect score from Famitsu by scoring 40 out of 40. It joins the following nine titles in order of release:

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Nintendo 64)
Soulcalibur (Sega Dreamcast)
Vagrant Story (Playstation)
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (Nintendo Gamecube)
Nintendogs (Nintendo DS)
Final Fantasy XII (Playstation 2)
Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Nintendo Wii)
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (Playstation 3)
428 (Nintendo Wii)

Surprisingly, it is the first game in the legendary Dragon Quest series to receive the honor. Dragon Quest IX was released last week in Japan and has already sold 2.3 million units in just two days.
