Southeastern Wisconsin runners will not be dragging their heels at the Dragon Dash, a fun run in River Hills, on October 5.
Beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, the 2013 Maple Dale – Indian Hill School Dragon Dash includes a 5K run, a one-mile walk, and a kids fun run at Indian Hill Elementary School, 1101 West Brown Deer Road, in River Hills, Wisconsin.
The untimed community run for all ages is a fund raiser for Maple Dale - Indian Hill School District, presented by the PTO and the Educational Foundation and supported by a host of local businesses.
Participation in the Dragon Dash costs $25 per adult, $15 per child (junior kindergarten through age 17), or $65 for a family (up to six people). Long-sleeved event tee shirts are available with advance registration.
Race-day registration opens at 8 a.m.
Dragon Dash festivities include live entertainment, music, face painting, and free refreshments from Noodles & Company.
