‘Dragon Age: Inquisition’ voice actor shows how she warms up before recordings

Claudia Black, who provides the voice for Morrigan in the Dragon Age franchise, offered tips on how to warm up before beginning to record. Posted on the Bioware blog on Friday, the video offers a humorous look to give insight on what the famed voice actor does to prepare to perform.

Dragon Age: Inquisition

The video was released to remind gamers of the ongoing contest which will allow one fan to win the chance to voice a character in the upcoming third installment of the popular fantasy series, Dragon Age: Inquisition. Fans have until March 24 to send in their performance from a sample script for their chance to be flown to a professional recording studio to have their voice immortalized as a new Dragon Age character. Those interesting should read up on all the rules on the developer's own blog.

While the character of Morrigan was absent in Dragon Age II, Claudia Black returns to once again voice Dragon Age: Origin’s shapeshifting witch. Dragon Age: Inquisition is currently scheduled to release in the fall of 2014 for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. The game, being developed by Bioware on the Frostbite 3 engine, will allow fans to explore the country of Orlais while demons spill into Thedas after the boundaries of the fade become torn.
