In the end, I think we achieved quite a dramatic look for this strong new character. The combination of sleek and powerful shapes with the ornate gold and fine fabrics gives Vivienne a pretty unique appearance.

Rion Swanson also disclosed that the in-game model of Vivienne is equally as impressive. She provides a balance with her “flowing fabric” and magic abilities when compared to the other “heavily armored characters.” You can find the rest of his remarks below:

Watching her move through the world with flowing fabric and using her awesome mage abilities is a real nice counterbalance to some of the other heavily armored characters in your party. Enjoy!

The development studio recently confirmed that new characters will be revealed in a monthly basis starting with the unveiling of the aforesaid Vivienne. A recent leak revealed that one of the companions will be another mage named Solas.

Electronic Arts will be shipping “Dragon Age Inquisition” this autumn in North America for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One platforms.
