Bioware recently detailed in-game character models of Dragon Age: Inquisition for both Varric and Cassandra, which are returning characters from earlier installments of the popular franchise. However, in a post from the developer's official blog on March 7, Bioware showcased the first in-depth details for an all new companion character that will be introduced to fans for the first time in Dragon Age: Inquisition.
In addition to simply showing off screens of the newly introduced character, Vivienne, Bioware also provided a description of the follower to give players as sense of her character. As a noblewoman of Orlais, the country where the events of Dragon Age: Inquisition will take place, Vivienne places fashion above function. Caring more about her outward appearance rather than protection, Vivienne is always found in the finest silks and jewels.
The newly released character details for Vivienne, reveal a companion character adorned in embroidered garments with intricate embellishments crafted out of precious metals.
Dragon Age: Inquisition launches this fall on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Like Bioware’s other current title in development, the fourth entry in the Mass Effect series, the next Dragon Age game is being created using the Frostbite 3 engine.
