It was recently revealed that Dragon Age: Inquisition might feature 40 different endings. This seemed to be a rather large number and cause many fans to reach out to Bioware for confirmation on this seemingly large number of endings. According to a report by Gameranx on April 2, Dragon Age Executive Producer Mark Darrah recently took time to offer clarity on this issue by revealing new details on the vast number of possible endings that the developer plans to offer in upcoming third entry of their popular fantasy series.

While it was revealed that Dragon Age: Inquisition will indeed have 40 variables based upon in-game decisions that will alter the ending in large ways, Darrah confirmed that the game will actually feature hundreds of different endings that will differ slightly from each other based upon lesser factors.

Minor variations based upon choices you make in the game or previous games. There are HUNDREDS of these variations.

Of course, these variables will only slightly affect the overall outcome of the game. The number of unique endings is said to be much lower.

Dragon Age: Inquisition releases this fall on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
