Mike Laidlaw has answered a few questions regarding the PC version, story length and surprising romance partner elements for the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Dragon Age Inquisition.” According to an exchange from Twitter on April 19, the creative director was first asked about how long the main plot will take to be completed. The developer replied by saying that there will be a lengthy story although the company has not yet provided a lot of details due to the potential spoilers.
Mike Laidlaw also confirmed that “Dragon Age Inquisition” on the PC is going to feature two different user-interfaces and heads-up displays. Players will be able to see one set by using the traditional keyboard and mouse combination. Choosing to play the game with a controller is also going to make the user-interface and heads-up display more similar to the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions.
Finally, another fan also wanted to know if “Dragon Age Inquisition” will include a surprising romance options similar to Cauthrien in “Dragon Age Origins.” Mike Laidlaw responded by teasing that it wouldn’t be a surprise if he were to spoil it in advance, ending the short message with a wink. Bioware previously confirmed that Cassandra Pentaghast and Cullen are potential love interests. Along with the menus of the PC versions, “Dragon Age Inquisition” should feature additional differences on other platforms. The software product is expected to come out for all aforesaid platforms sometime in the autumn launch window.
