‘Dragon Age Inquisition’ director talks ‘Dark Souls,’ ‘Dark Souls 2’ and more

The director of “Dragon Age Inquisition” has made a brief comment in regards to the “Souls” series. According to a message from his personal Twitter page on Feb. 24, Mike Laidlaw revealed that he enjoy every aspect of the franchise, which was developed by From Software. He also revealed that he is really looking forward to “Dark Souls 2.” You can find his comments below:

Although “Dark Souls 2” and “Dragon Age Inquisition” are both considered to be role-playing games, the two titles have significantly different styles. “Dark Souls 2” is more about gameplay as players have to constantly keep their guard up in order to avoid being easily killed.

On the other hand, “Dragon Age Inquisition” is more about story as users have an abundance of dialogue choices and crucial decisions to choose from throughout the journey. The combat is the upcoming “Dragon Age” title is party-based as opposed to “Dark Souls 2.”

The newest installment from the “Dark Souls” series is coming out for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on March 11th in addition to the PC shortly afterwards. “Dragon Age Inquisition” should be released in the autumn season for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The two games, along with “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt,” are expected to compete for numerous “RPG of the Year” awards.
