Mike Laidlaw has made a brief response in regards to one story question about the upcoming multiplatform software product, “Dragon Age: Inquisition.” In a conversation from his personal Twitter page on Jan. 18, a fan asked if the Qunaris are descendants of the dragons in the plot of the action-role-playing game.

The creative director responded by saying that the development is not yet willing to divulge any details regarding the origins of the race. You can find a set of “Dragon Age: Inquisition” in the slideshow located to the left side of this article and his comments below:

We haven’t discussed anything about the Qunari origins yet.

The Qunari is a new playable race in the series that will be introduced in “Dragon Age: Inquisition.” Players also have the option to play as a dwarf, elf and human when creating the main character for the story. Bioware previously hinted that choosing the Qunari is going to lead to some interesting scenarios due to the population’s wariness of the race.

Mike Laidlaw and the rest of the development should be able to provide more details regarding the story of “Dragon Age: Inquisition” when the sequel moves closer to launch. The action role-playing game has a release date scheduled for later this fall season for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The cross-platform title will be published by Electronic Arts.
