Mike Laidlaw has answered a few for fan inquiries regarding the upcoming multiplatform video game, “Dragon Age 3: Inquisition.” According to an exchange from his Twitter page on Aug. 17, the creative director talked a little bit about potentially being able to change the physique of the main character in the game.
Mike Laidlaw stated that it is unlikely that his development team will be able to add the physique changes along with multiple playable races. He went on to explain that it is either one or the other, stating that he would choose multiple playable races out of the two. You can check out his comments below (courtesy of the Mike Laidlaw Twitter page):
I can't say for sure, but it's unlikely that we'll do physique changes on top already doing racial physiques. Yeah, I totally understand the desire, but if it's that or races? I'm goin' with races ;)
Bioware recently stated that the sequel features three playable races: humans, dwarves and elves. The studio previously disclosed that players could only select humans.
The creative director also confirmed where most of the story will be taking place in “Dragon Age 3: Inquisition.” He mentioned that a “majority of the events” are going to happen in Ferelden and Orlais.
“Dragon Age 3: Inquisition” is being planned for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One platforms.
