Mike Laidlaw has clarified some information regarding the character creation feature in his upcoming cross-generation project, “Dragon Age 3: Inquisition.” A fan asked the creative director through Twitter on Nov. 2 if the creator tools will include belly control. Another staff member from Bioware Montreal recently hinted that he saw the ability to control heads and bellies during the latest internal review day at the studio.
Mike Laidlaw replied by stating that the belly sliders is not part of the character creation feature. Instead, the controls are being used to build tech animations for the creatures that appear in the world of “Dragon Age 3: Inquisition.” You can check out some screens from the role-playing game in the slideshow located near the top of this article and his comments below:
No belly sliders in character creator. It’s a tech anim thing for creatures.
Another fan complained about having to wait another year for “Dragon Age 3: Inquisition.” The sequel was originally announced for a late 2013 release but ended up being delayed. Mike Laidlaw reassured the fan that the extra development time “will be worth it.” He also mentioned that the extension allowed the development team to add new features. You can check out his statement from Twitter below:
Trust me, the wait will be worth it. The extra time gave us Qunari inquisitors, after all.
