The biological mother of a severely malnourished 5-year-old who authorities allege was hidden in a small, dark closet under the stairs of his stepmother’s Houston home will speaks out for the first time on the Thursday, April 24, episode of "Dr. Phil."

According to an April 23 email from the nationally syndicated talk show's PR camp, Windy Hall will share her "heart-wrenching reunion" with the son, Jordan Bleimeyer, whom she says she spent two years desperately searching for.

Jordan was discovered, police have said, they were responding to a fight that broke out between a man and his 16-year-old stepson in Spring, Texas, and, upon arrival at the scene, they were shocked to hear the teen say the fight with his stepfather started because he was angry that his 5-year-old stepbrother was being confined in a closet under the stairs.

Following a search, cops located the child and soon released photos that stunned the nation. The photos show that Jordan was "skin and bones" and "wearing only a diaper." Police reported he weighed just 29 pounds when they found him and that he could not walk.

Per the aforementioned media release, Hall will reveal to Dr. Phil what it was like as a mother to see her son in a hospital bed for the first time after his rescue; describing him as bruised, emaciated and, according to his doctors' reports, on the brink of death.

“When I walked into that room, the child laying in that bed had the same eyes and the same smile and the same voice, but he did not look like the baby that I had seen two years before that, and it tore my heart up,” Hall told Dr. Phil.

In response, Dr. Phil McGraw remarked to Hall, “Guilt is like a rocking chair. It’s something to do, but you don’t go anywhere. What he needs at this point, is his mother.”

On Thursday's broadcast, Hall will reportedly share information bout the abuse Jordan allegedly endured and about his recovery process. Dr. Phil will also sit down with the boy’s step-mother’s attorneys, who deny involvement by their client in any abuse, and provide a first look inside the closet where it is alleged Jordan was locked up and starved.
