For years, Dr. Phil has been known to call out predators.
Now he's being called one himself.
A former patient of Dr. Phil is calling the famous daytime TV icon a “predator” and a “bully” in the new issue of The National Enquirer.
As reported this morning by Comcast Entertainment, Sara Morrison allegedly sought the help of Dr. Phil to confront her bouts with depression while still in college.
Morrison claims that Dr. Phil "went way beyond the treatment she was seeking."
25 years later Morrison is opening up about the matter publicly.
“Not a single day has gone by when I haven’t been affected by what Phil McGraw did to me. He profoundly affected the course of my life,” Morrison said. “I suffered from low self-esteem, and I was depressed, lonely and suicidal. Phil was extremely insistent that I call him all the time, and he would call me,” she adds.
“He had his hands all over me,” she recalls.
No response has been issued at this time by Dr. Phil.

i was shocked to see this headline at my grocery store. it may not be true and all be fabricated by mean, jealous people whose pleasure in life is to gossip and bring people down, even by lying. on the other hand, it may be true and, if it is, then so be it. it doesn't take anything away from what and who dr phil has become over the years: an amazing psychotherapist devoted to helping north america get more savvy about their lives and relationships. by my calculations dr phil was a relatively young man at the time of the alleged accusations. i think even dr phil would agree that young adults, and especially young men, sometimes don't possess all the self discipline they should in their lives. it's what we still like about dr phil: his self-assuredness, his spontaneity, his love of himself, necessary to do the amazing job he does every day on tv. this story will not affect my respect for dr phil. i hope everyone remains loyal to the man in his hour of need.carole desormeau mtl
The accusations sound law-like. So another words, this story doesn't sound legit and is probably some lawyer's delight if he can win this one. But do I believe that it's possible Dr. Phil could be guilty of this? ..of course; everyone is.
It is interesting that she is bringing this up, now, when Dr. Phil is at the top of his career but never mentioned it before now. In addition, is going to the National Enquirer to report this (which she is probably getting paid to say these things). If Dr. Phil did that to me I would be telling anyone who would listen and the National Enquirer would not be first stop. I think I would have been more inclined to believe her if she did not report it in National Enquirer, who admit that they pay people for stories. If you look at their website they admit to paying people for good stories. If it happened one why not report it sooner and two why report it to the National Enquirer. Either way I believe the statue of limitations has run out. If they have not I do not think she has got a case, even if some lawyer would take on this case, just for the simple timing of things and her probably getting paid to report this.
Does anyone care about the fact that it is in the National Enquiror? Nothing in that news paper is true, and it's all a joke. If it was from a legit news source I MIGHT believe it, even if it is Dr. Phil
well just wanted to say that the truth always come out and i hope he didnt do anything becasue he is an idol to many people...but in the other hand i was also abused and didnt say anything until almost ten years later.
This is the National Enquirer, people. Their rag magazines are full of fabricated BS. They get sued all the time. Their "reporter" illegally signed out Brooke Shields's mother, who is suffering from dementia, out of an New Jersey nursing home. If you have seen Farrah's Story, you will see the stress the National Enquirer put on Farrah Fawcett. This is another lie being spread courtesy of the National Enquirer. They said that Dr. Phil was getting a divoirce and he said that he wasn't on the Rachael Ray show. Thesse idiots need to be put out of business.
