You may know that glucosamine and chondroitin are great for joint health, and now Dr. Oz recommends green tea for great joints.
Green tea is high in EGCG and ECG, neither of which are found in black tea due to its processing method. These catechins, or flavonoids, are potent antioxidants and have been associated with regulating and inhibiting cancer growth and killing cells that grow inappropriately. This includes battling cartilage and collagen destruction in arthritic joints.
EGCG and ECG have also been associated with fighting inflammation, a contributing cause to both osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
So drink your green tea and feel like a kid again.

I really appreciate being reminded of the benefits of green tea. I didn't realize a person should be drinking two cups a day to receive the full benefit of this tea. Thank you.
Yes, tea is going to reduce inflammation and it's even been said to be able to prevent rheumatoid arthritis, above and beyond just easing the symptoms.
