The Dr. Oz show highlighted the amazing way to lose weight with hypnosis. Several guests who tried hypnosis for weight loss shared their success stories as Dr. Oz inquired about their experiences.
Hypnotist Paul McKenna, PhD., explained the process of hypnosis and how it works. “Hypnosis for weigh loss is effective for most people. The majority of the time it is successful,” said Dr. McKenna. “Hypnosis reprograms your mind like a computer so you can lose weight or overcome other problems.”
Dr. Oz recalled learning about the power of hypnosis in medical school. “Hypnosis can help people stop sabotaging their diets.” Dr. Oz explained that although he is aware of the power of hypnosis, he knows that there are many skeptics.
Dr. McKenna advices skeptics that the “best thing to do is try hypnosis for yourself and see what you think of it.” Dr. McKenna enjoys using hypnosis to help people lose weight and overcome other issues such as smoking.

Most people overeat because of emotional reasons. According to Dr. McKenna, emotional eating hypnosis can be performed by stimulating various acupuncture points on the body. Another top reason that people have difficulty losing weight is because they are obsessive dieters. They have rollercoaster eating and dieting habits. Both Dr. Oz and Dr. McKenna agree that paying more attention to what you eat, eating more slowly, and mindful eating will help with weight loss.
Using hypnosis for weight loss will not only help you lose weight, but it could also boost your metabolism. For more information on hypnosis for weigh loss, visit the Dr. Oz show.
