Celebrity diet guru Tosca Reno has become famed for her "eat clean" wisdom. Now she's crafted a new weight loss book, which she shared on Dr. Mehmet Oz's show. It's entitled "The Start Here Diet: Three Simple Steps That Helped Me Transition from Fat to Slim . . . for Life." Get the skinny on Tosca's book below, plus recipes for super-slimming smoothies and tips on Dr. Oz's new magazine.

It's become conventional diet advice to tell people to "eat clean." But that tip originated with Tosca, whose best-selling books include "The Eat-Clean Diet Cookbook 2: Over 150 brand new great-tasting recipes that keep you lean" (click for details). It's the plan that helped Tosca herself lose 70 pounds, and now her new book can help you attain your own weight loss goals with these tips:

  • Push away processed foods.
  • Acquire a fear of fast food restaurants, and a fondness for eating at your own dinner table.
  • Understand the health benefits of buying foods such as strawberries organic.

Dr. Oz also talked about his new magazine. He's jazzed about it because he feels that it combines fitness, family health, food and diet to help you make its title come true: "Dr Oz: the Good Life" (click for more information).

Among Dr. Oz's favorite recipes: Slimming smoothies. They're designed to fill you up (not out), and satisfy your sweet tooth. Try two of his recipes below.
