Dr. Oz and Dari Alexander reveal holistic 'Quick and Clean Diet'

Award-winning journalist Dari Alexander joined Dr. Mehmet Oz on his Jan. 17 show to chat about her new book, "The Quick & Clean Diet: Lose the Weight, Feel Great, and Stay Lean for Life." The book approaches slimming down from a holistic viewpoint, explaining how to cleanse and detox your body as you shed pounds.

"Clean eating" has become a buzz term in the diet world. But what does it really mean, and how can it work for you? Dari explains that the key is eating natural, unprocessed foods. On her simple weight loss plan, you'll enjoy good fats, lean proteins, whole grains, vegetables and spices. What you'll toss: Processed foods, fast foods and those brightly colored packages of chemicals disguised as cereal, crackers and cookies.

You progress through three phases on this diet. The high motivation phase results in fast weight loss. You then move to the grounding section, where you shed pounds while eating more foods. And for your healthy food plan for life, you'll follow the smart stability segment. Want to try it? Get the "Quick & Clean Diet" book now by clicking here.
