If you're among the many fans of Dr. Mehmet Oz's talk show, you may have noticed how the man dubbed "America's doctor" by Oprah Winfrey loves fitness segments. He pops into his workout clothes, shows off his buff biceps and energetically exercises with superstar trainers such as Jillian Michaels. So when Dr. Oz finally admitted that he has a very fattening guilty pleasures, we tuned in.
"I have plenty of guilty pleasures. But the worst one, if you really wanna get me is chocolate-covered nuts," Dr. Oz confessed to iVillage in a recent interview. "It's a huge weakness." So, in the interest of objective journalism (yeah, right), we set out to taste this fattening guilty pleasure. And if you're going to indulge like Dr. Oz, we recommend The Peanut Shop of Williamsburg Chocolate-Covered Peanuts (double-dipped and doubly divine), Trader Joe's Sea Salt & Turbinado Sugar Dark Chocolate Almonds (which are awesomely addictive) and the aptly named Chocolate Covered Bliss Fruit and Nuts Tray (which contains both dried fruit and nuts to reduce the guilt factor...sort of).
Given that he's all over the chocolate-covered nuts, just how does this fit physician maintain that flat belly? Turning to exercise, not chocolate, when he's stressed, Dr. Oz revealed to iVillage. "When I feel the stress in my life, I'll usually work out." And it doesn't have to be time-consuming. Dr. Oz has previously said that he performs yoga regularly, and when it comes to releasing stress, "I'm talking about simple things like stretching." So to work off those chocolate-covered nuts, we tried out a few fitness DVDs and recommend these for duplicating Dr. Oz's stress "prescription:"
- Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30: Tough, fast and, with Jillian keeping you motivated, a fitness routine that gets results.
- Joel Harper Firming After 50: Don't be turned off by the "after 50" part of this title. Joel is Dr. Oz's own fitness trainer, and this routine incorporates the stretching and toning recommended by Dr. Oz to get you and keep you fit at any age.

Then walk with Leslie five days a week: This fitness DVD contains a different walk for each weekday to get you in the best shape of your life (and with Leslie's lively attitude, even have fun!).
