Dr. Schultz loves and respects animals
This is the last installment in my series on notable Los Angeles area veterinarians I’ve had the good fortune of observing or working with.
I met Dr. Gerry Schultz when I had the privilege of working with her for a brief period last year. What struck me was her knowledgeable, yet down to earth demeanor. Accessible and easy to talk with, she makes one feel at ease while in the presence of someone who knows what she is doing. She can be counted on to provide the best possible care and treatment available. Dr. Schultz embodies the spirit of the true scientist, a balance of solid knowledge with intuition, creative with a willingness to think “outside the box”. By the way she treats and handles them, it is clear Dr. Schultz loves and respects animals.
Dr. Schultz grew up in Minnesota and graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1973 where she fulfilled an internship in internal medicine. She previously worked at Parkview Pet Hospital in Glendale and now practices at La Canada Pet Clinic.
Among Dr. Schultz’s interests are internal medicine, dermatology and ultrasound. An animal lover committed to the most advanced and gentle care of animals, she has two beloved cats of her own. Dr. Schultz is recommended to those seeking a veterinarian who can be trusted to advocate for their pets’ best interests and well-being.
