Dr. Dorinda Clark-Cole is headed to the Dallas/Fort Worth SMAC Conference

DFW Singers & Musicians Arts Conference 2014
Dallas/Fort Worth SMAC Conference

The Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of SMAC (Singers & Musicians Arts Conference) is geared up and excited about what will be their first regional conference with the legendary Dr. Dorinda Clark-Cole as their leader.

The conference will take place on February 21-22, 2014 at The Park Inn by Raddison located at 1241 W. Mockingbird Lane, Dallas, Tx. 75247. A variety of seminar classes are being presented to better equip and enrich music and arts leaders to advance in their ministries and crafts. Worship services, showcases for artists, and more will be in motion for all who attend.

We know that whatever Dr. Dorinda Clark-Cole puts her name on will be first class and full of spirit. The world renowned preacher and singer/artist is known for her unique sound and vocal abilities. She comes from a family of talented and gifted people who have always used their vocals and musical skills for the Lord.

The Clark Sisters are the daughters of the late Dr. Mattie Moss Clark who was famous for her choir directing and choral teaching within the Churches of God In Christ (COGIC), and beyond. She shaped her daughters into the icon they became, helping to bring gospel music to the mainstream and opening the gateway for contemporary Gospel music. They are know for such songs as, "You Brought The Sunshine", "Is My Living In Vain?", "Hallelujah", and dozens upon dozens of more hits.

Also supporting the conference will be Dr. Dorinda's sisters, Twinkie Clark and Jacky Clark-Chisholm. If you are anywhere in the Dallas/Forth Worth area on February 21-22, you owe it to yourself to be present at this conference to sharpen your skills and/or to be blessed by some awesome Gospel singing. Groups, soloists, choirs, and dancers from all over are preparing their ministry presentations for the weekend. Some are coming from as far as North Carolina and Mississippi, and of course, a great representation of the Dallas/Fort Worth artists, musicians, and dancers will be in the building.

Various media representatives will be on site conducting interviews and broadcasting "live" at this action-packed conference. For more information about seminar registration or general updates, please send your inquiries to, or call 214.405.1987 or 469.396.2957.
