theyve been reporting this since august 18th and no arrest yet

Deb, Actually what they have be saying since the corner's report concluded that it was homicide is that charges were pending and Dr. Murray was still being investigated. That is no longer the case. Read my story Acute propofol intoxication was the cause of Michael Jackson's death and you will see.

Two weeks from the date of the article. What is it you people can't understand? Do you not know that there is a difference between a autopsy report and a police investigation? What you have been hearing is that Dr. Murray was under investigation. Because a Dr gives someone a drug and they die doesn't mean they are guilty of murder. It happens in hospitals every day. Knowing he is guilty and proving it is also are two different things. He is expected to be arrested for manslaughter. He will be in custody before your march. Cool your heels and let the system work. He didn't set out to kill a man that was paying him $150,000 a month. He made a mistake that cost Michael Jackson's life. He should be punished for that and he will.

Mitch - Correct me if I am wrong, but I think Micheal's death is different then Heath Ledger or Anna Nicole Smith because they actually took the drugs in pill form, where Michael had to have his through an IV. I am not an attorney or doctor, but I believe this is why Dr. Murray is in big trouble.

It looks like the manslaughter charge will be compounded by inconsistencies in the time of death, the temperature of the room (suspicious to me since it was so hot), when he finally called 911, etc. I do not believe Dr. Murray committed murder since he needed the pay check but I do think the manslaughter charge will rise to the criminal level because of his gross negligence. I also predict he will spend time in prison.

I guess only time will tell.

Yes you are right and the drug is suppose to be administered in a hospital. The fact that the Dr was right there with him makes him look even worse. I think the room being so hot was an attempt to keep his body temperature up and make it harder to determine the time of death.

I think he will get jail time but not near enough for what he did. In a lot of my stories I link his performance of "Billie Jean" from the Motown special and it still gives me chills. It is important to remember that no criminal charges were ever filed against him for anything. If there was evidence of any wrong doing there would have been. He was only found guilty by public opinion. The civil suits are what turned him into the man he was at the time of his death. I think he would have been successful with his comeback and regained the credibility he deserved. He was truly a gifted Singer/songwriter and performer.

I know Michael was innocent. I never had any doubt about that. What breaks my heart is how he was treated. That must have been devastating for such a kind and gentle person.

When will he be arrested? When? When?? When? When? GOD!

Conrad left the country? And they cannot find him??

    Why the delay?

  • Mitch 2 years ago

Sam, the delay was the investigation. Knowing someone did something and proving it beyond a reasonable doubt are two completely different things. When it was announced that the coroner had determined that Jackson's death was a homicide, I said in my article that it didn't mean that anyone would necessarily be charged. The police had to finish their investigation before anyone could be charged. They had to decide if they could prove their case in court. Dr Murray is in hiding that doesn't mean he has left the country. The charge is manslaughter, not murder. He will most likely turn himself in. He will pay for what he did but it won't be near long enough jail time. He will be known for the rest of his life as the man who killed Michael Jackson. Be patient, justice will be served but revenge won't.
