Downtown Restaurant Week Ends Sunday, $25 Three Course Menus

This year is bigger than ever for diners. While the economic forecast remains mostly cloudy for Atlanta Restaurants and entertainment, there is one byproduct that will hopefully help both restaurants and diners. This year Downtown Restaurant Week was extended to a two week event.

The following restaurants will offer three-course, prix fixe meals for $25, including an appetizer, entrée and dessert:  30 Tables, Atlanta Grill, Avanzare Steakhouse, Café Circa, Django Gypsy Saloon, Durango Steakhouse, French American Brasserie, Hard Rock Café, Il Mulino, Legal Sea Foods, Max Lager’s American Grill & Brewery, Morton’s The Steakhouse, No Mas! Cantina, Pacific Rim Bistro, Peasant Bistro, Ray’s in the City, Rise Sushi Lounge, Room, Sear, Stats, Terrace on Peachtree, Thrive, and Trader Vic’s.

I don't recall the price last year but I'm pretty sure it was more than $25. The list of restaurants is huge this year. My suggestion, pick two or three of your favorites and show your support for 2009. The last thing any diner wants to see is his or her favorite restaurant dry up and to have never seen it coming. If you are an advocate for anything this year, be one for your favorite restaurant. Make it a weekly visit. Make it a habit. Maybe next year you'll get a frequent diner reward card. Who knows?
