Dominating the tight confines of the Charnelton,west 11th ave corridor of Eugene Oregon, The new Eugene ‘Downtown’ Lane Community College campus takes form.
The 90,000 square foot class room and student living facility will provide a much needed education complex in Eugene’s downtown redevelopment zone.
The Campus is being constructed by Lease Crutcher Lewis, an employee owned construction and engineering firm of Portland Oregon.
Funded by community bond issues, as well as federal matching funds, the estimated cost of the project is $54.4 million.
According to L.C.C. staff, the project is scheduled for completion in the Fall of 2012.
Located at the corner of Charnelton and West 11th, the new facility will provide 30 class rooms, student housing, as well as a much needed downtown education to business interface.
