Fans of “Once Upon a Time” are anxiously anticipating the return of the show for the second half of the season this month. In preparation, ABC will be airing a special called “Wicked is Coming” that will be shown this Sunday and will also feature a familiar voice. According to E! News on March 5, former “Downton Abbey” star, Dan Stevens, will be narrating the hour-long show.

This will be leading up to the return of the fairytale series that has captivated viewers both young and old. Even though Stevens will only lend his voice to the show, he will be sure to bring a special British flair to it. The actor left his role as Matthew Crawley in the Masterpiece Classic series last year and has since gone off to continue his acting career. This is just another one of those exciting opportunities that has presented itself to him. Maybe this will be an open door for the 31-year-old to get an actual role in the series soon.

“Wicked is Coming” will feature snips from previous shows that leads up to the exciting mid-season premiere. There will also be interviews with the actors, behind-the-scenes secrets, and a review of the relationships and story lines that intertwine everyone together.

Rebecca Mader is the ‘wicked’ that is coming to Storybrooke and will have a past history with Regina. She is playing the role of Zelena, the Wicked Witch of the West, and is sure to bring an interesting twist to the magical show.

“Once Upon a Time: Wicked is Coming” airs on Sunday, March 9, on ABC.
