Grab your party hats and handfuls of confetti, New Year's Eve is a few days away, and a celebration this big needs some preparation.

So just in time, Countdown Entertainment has released the official 2014 Times Square Ball App so even if you aren't in Times Square this year, you can still experience all the excitement and fun that will be happening in the Big Apple.

One of the biggest parties of the year needs a big app, and this year's version of the Times Square Ball App allows anyone from around the world, the ability to watch commercial-free the live webcast from Times Square.
That includes interviews, music, and not only a recap of 2013, but a look ahead to 2014, and more.

Also, the Ball Raising at 6 p.m. EST, concerts by some big acts, hourly countdowns from other cities around the world, and the moment everyone on the East Coast is waiting for, the midnight Ball Drop, is available to see via the app.

The app is available for both iOS or Android.

Visit for more info or just go to the Apple App Store or Google Play to get the app now.

Remember, the app will include exclusive video content television viewers won't see.

You can also make your own "Countdown Clock" with your personal photo and time zone right in the app and use Twitter to follow and interact with the Times Square Ball. It's a night of fun, if you download the app and have it ready for Dec. 31.

Happy New Year everyone!
