Download the Girl Scout Cookie Finder app for 'Cookie Weekend'

Girl Scout cookies go on sale only once a year, so you don't want to miss the opportunity to score some to fill your cabinet, refrigerator, or freezer.

The Girl Scouts have refreshed their "Cookie Finder" app for this year and for the first time, National Girl Scout Cookie Days is going to be an entire weekend- February 7-8, 2014.

The app has a ton of features and it makes finding cookies a easy- just install and press "Find Cookies."

There is also a new addition to the family when talking about Girl Scout cookies this year.

All you gluten-free lifestyle types are going to be happy.

2014 marks the debut of the new gluten-free chocolate chip cookie. Girl Scouts of the USA has a party pack, encouraging folks to host Girl Scout cookie parties in their homes. Those who host Girl Scout cookie parties will earn special Girl Scout Cookie Weekend patches to wear.

The app allows you to locate where cookies are being sold in your zip code if you don't have Girl Scouts knocking at your door.

Plus the social media aspect of this app is very cool.

From the Girl Scouts of the USA, here are the apps new features for 2014:

Improved cookie finding algorithm
Updated cookie listing including the two new cookies for 2013-2014
Countdown clock for pending sale season start
Share photos and cookies to social media accounts
Ability to check-in at booth sales via Foursquare and Facebook
Ability to bookmark selected cookie booth sales (and add to calendar)
