Gamers who download PokeBank during the 30-day free-trial period will receive the Pokémon Celebi for free, Nintendo said in a press release today obtained by Examiner.

A grass/fairy Pokémon, Celebi’s addition to the game is sure to wreak havoc on Dragon Pokémon everywhere.

PokeBank allows gamers to trade Pokémon caught from Pokémon Black, White, Black II and White II to the “Pokémon X & Y” series. Starting Dec. 27, gamers can try the service for free, but will be charged an annual fee of $5.00 if they use the service after the trial runs out.

The service allows gamers to hold up to 3,000 Pokémon online. However, Pokémon transferred from older games such as “Pokémon Black” or “Pokémon Black II” cannot be traded back to the older games once they are uploaded to the PokeBank.
