Down Syndome Association offers Saturday program


The Down Syndrome Association of Middle Tennessee sponsors a community social/recreation program for teens and adults with Down syndrome or other intellectual challenges. Circle of Friends is for individuals who are independent with personal care and able to follow directions in a group.

Participants bring their lunch, beverage and snack and enjoy a day of art, sports, games, special events, social interaction, and taekwondo.

Circle of Friends meets one Saturday a month from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at West Minister Presbyterian Church at 3900 West End Avenue in Nashville. The cost is $20.00 for the day, but participants must register by calling Sheila Moore, the Executive Director of th DSAMT at (615) 386-002. Enrollment is limited.
