Ha Ha Tonka

Missouri natives Ha Ha Tonka have been winning audiences over with their more recent release Novel Sounds Of The Nouveau South and now Kansas City gets their chance to enjoy the delectable sounds from the quartet.

Seven months after the album hit stores, the band has been working their way into stereos from the Great Lakes to coasts and everything in between. The album has everything an audience member would want: a little bit of beauty, a little bit of power chords and a whole lot of rock 'n roll. It's the kind of music that when set in a live situation will undoubtedly keep bodies in a grooving mood.

Joining Ha Ha on stage will be the likes of: Tim York  and Ghosty. Both acts equally balancing the talent for the night. Tim uses his talent in soft indie rock and mixes in a bit of electronic influences. While Ghosty (who has been continuously bringing more and more recognition to the little town of Lawrence) has figured out a way to take the main elements of pop and put them to an indie tempo.

The night will move you in ways you never thought possible.
