Douglas Druick, a longtime curator and recent acting director of Art Institute of Chicago was last month named as President of the museum.
Mr. Druick has been with the Art Institute for almost three decades and has curated some of the musuems most famous shows. He is an international scholar and has contributed numerous essays and has been credited with fifteen exhibition catalogs.
Druick is a native of Canada and came to the Art Institute in 1985.
