Douglas Corner is one of the local music venues in Nashville which is a very popular place to appear for many of our Nashville singer/songwriters. Here is a recap of their shows for next week:
Monday March 18th: 8 p.m.- Tom Hurst Loud Jamz Presents The Big Greasy

"Over the past year I've gotten into show promotion, and booking for "alternative music" with my venture Tom Hurst Presents: I host an ongoing series at Douglas Corner called the Loud Jamz. Come on out and join us as we cull the music of the 50's, 60's, and 70's (Miles, Train, Wayne, Return to Forever, Boz Scaggs, The Dan, Stevie Wonder, Weather Report, Zappa, Jeff Beck, Little Feat etc.) I hope to expand these events into a regional booking series affording great jazz/world/fusion/blues/progressive rock etc. groups the opportunity to trade out shows here in the Southeastern US. Can't say thanks enough to all the great Nashville based musicians that have been such great contributors to the first year of the Loud Jamz.

At Douglas Corner on Tuesday March 19th: 8 p.m.- Open Mic writers Night Hosted By Donnie Winters. We're friends with Donnie Winters and his wife Paula Underwood Winters on Facebook so we can keep up with where Donnie will be playing in and around Nashville.
