There’s one month remaining in this year’s Miami Spice event that features some of South Florida’s top restaurants and chefs. For those still looking for some great options, here are two: Area 31 at Kimpton’s EPIC Hotel in downtown Miami and Kimpton’s Surfcomber Miami on South Beach.
Area 31’s dinner menu ($39 for a three-course meal) features appetizers such as octopus crudo, entrees that include local Berkshire suckling pig, swordfish and risotto and a selection of mini desserts. The restaurant’s lunch menu ($23) features a grouper burger and grilled hanger steak as entrees.
To help celebrate the 13th annual Miami Spice, the EPIC is offering rates starting at $204 per night topped with one complimentary Miami Spice dinner at Area 31.
Kimpton’s Surfcomber Miami, South Beach is offering with two complimentary specialty cocktails at Social Club for stays booked through September. Rates start at $191 per night. Surfcomber’s offer includes 20 percent savings on three and four night stays, 25 percent savings on five or more night stays.
The Social Club’s Miami Spice three-course Miami Spice dinner menu ($39) includes tasting plates that feature crispy alligator and St. Louis style ribs. Large plates include seared local cobia and pan roasted chicken.
