Double Fine's Kickstarter coming to Ouya

Your platform is only as good as the game that support it. There has been plenty of buzz since the Ouya Kickstarter for the Android-based console debuted last July and besides Robert Bowling's new title and another port of Final Fantasy III, there's a hazy lineup for the new console.

Today, during her D.I.C.E presentation CEO Julia Uhrman generated new hype for the project - Double Fine's Kickstarter adventure game, which has been code named "Reds", is coming to the Ouya. Double Fine has also planned to port The Cave to the console as well. Uhrman also announced that Paul Bettner, the creator of Words With Friends', new Verse studio is also creating a game for the Ouya.

Since the release announcement, the Ouya is popping up more frequently with promising information. The console is scheduled to go on sale for a mere $100 in June, with controllers priced at $50. It will be interesting to hear about what other game announcements will materialize as we approach the anticipated launch.
