Double decades of Dinah with double trouble pop duo Nina Sky

LOS ANGELES, CA – What started 22 years ago catering to a relatively small gathering of women who trekked to Palm Springs to socialize and maybe even take in some of the concurrent Dinah Shore Championship Golf Tournament has now turned into a series of multi-media, star-studded, internationally known parties of enormous proportions hosted by famed DJs with headlining performances by Top Billboard Recording Artists. This is The Dinah!

And The Dinah 2012 will not only be off the hook but double trouble with the exclusive headlining performance by the iconic identical twin sisters pop duo Nina Sky.

As phenomenal and unclassifiable as The Dinah itself, the eclectic mix of R&B, hip-hop, reggae and rock waves of Nina Sky are undeniably best experienced live! The genre defying, boundary breaking twin hotties will take center-stage at the legendary “White Diamonds” Party, Friday, March 30 at the trendy-chic Riviera Resort & Spa in the Sunny Oasis.

The multi-talented duo known as Nina Sky - Nina equaling a portion of each of their names (Nicole and Natalie Albino) and Sky representing their shared aspirations - stormed up Billboard's Hot 100 Chart and had everybody partying with their international smash hit "Move Ya Body", which peaked at #4 and earned them instant global recognition.
Their critically acclaimed debut Album “Nina Sky” (Universal Records) hit the music industry with a brand of R&B/pop that was unprecedented, coming from, then, two New York teenage twin sisters of Puerto Rican descent. A slew of music gems have been following such as “Turning Me On” with Pitbull & Shawnna, “Oye Mi Canto” with Daddy Yankee, “Your Time”, and “Beautiful People”.

Natalie and Nicole Albino are not only two heavenly attractive young women, they are also, first and foremost, singers; true singers with cohesive melodies that are as strong as their sisterly bond.

Nina Sky consistently continues to impose their eclectic presence on the music scene. They’re featured artist on Sean Paul’s “Connection” and enjoy sparkling collaborations with R&B legend Betty Wright ("You Deserve"), The Alchemist with Prodigy of Mobb Deep, and more recently appeared with Creep on the single “You”.
Nina Sky has been active in voicing their opinions on LGBTQ rights both nationally and internationally. The twins recently performed at Rome’s annual Gay village festival as well as posed for the No H8 Campaign.

With a new style, the band released an 8-track EP entitled “The Other Side” for digital download this past August, featuring production from DJ Yonny, Salaam Remi, Kidz in the Hall and many more. The lead-single of the EP “You Aint Got It (Funk That)” dropped along with the music video.

"When I heard Nina Sky's latest EP, I was blown away. It's so good. I support their move to go independent to produce and promote their music on their own terms. I want to get them in front of their lesbian fans and show them how much our community embraces them, appreciates Natalie coming out, and just plain loves their music!” says Mariah Hanson, creator & producer of Club Skirts Presents The Dinah. “The duo will blow Dinah goers away with their show. They're phenomenal live. Having Nina Sky on our music festival line-up makes perfect sense. They're legends in their own right. The Dinah prides itself in continuously delivering music legends and breaking the new faces of tomorrow."

This double threat of a duo has recently confirmed a new EP is presently in the works. In the meantime, always remaining true to the philosophy of their flagship single "Move Ya Body", Nina Sky sure knows how to keep the party going and it’s going on at The Dinah.
