Pro Gaming’s Fall competition to feature DOTA 2 for the first time, Black Ops II also in attendance.
Major League Gaming Fall Championship will mark the official debut of DOTA 2 on the MLG Pro Circuit, the company announced today. Call of Duty Black Ops II will culminate its competition at the same Columbus Ohio event running from November 22nd-24th.
Preceding the championship, both DOTA2 and CODBOII, will feature at the MLG Fall Invitational, commencing on October 18th and 19th at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.
The top four DOTA 2 NA League teams will compete live on Friday, October 18th. First place prize wins $10,000 and an invite to the MLG Fall Championship. Second place will receive $5,000. The following day, Saturday, October 19th The top Call of Duty: Black Ops II teams - based on the Xbox 360 Pro Points rankings from Sept. 16th - will face off, with first place claiming $10,000 and $5,000 going to the runner up.
Leading up the MLGFI, the DOTA 2 NA League will run from Sept. 4th - 30th, consisting of 8 teams total; 3 of which will automatically receive invites, with the remaining 5 teams going through the Open Qualifier on August 31st. Players can register for on the official MLG site.
