Doritos time machine Super Bowl commercial: It only cost $200 to make

This year one of the Super Bowl commercials that is being talked about is the Doritos time machine commercial. On Feb. 2, Business Insider shared how this only cost $200 to make. Of course they spent a lot more than that to air it during the big game.

You can watch the commercial on this page in the video. It is adorable as a man goes into a cardboard box time machine and seems to think it actually worked. It is a very cute commercial, but it wasn't hard to make this one. This was a homemade commercial and they spent $200 and eight hours to get it ready to enter in the contest. It was one of five finalists for the best commercial for Doritos this year.

Raj Suri came up with the idea for this one and then used director Ryan Anderson. They shot the commercial outside of Ryan's parent's house so of course it didn't cost anything for a place to make it. The Doritos time machine commercial is a favorite.
