My son did not conspire or calculate, agree to, or participate in the senseless murder of Johnnie Boyd, Jr. He was simply caught up hanging with these knuckleheads on this sad occassion. He DID NOT shoot the victim, He did not steal the car, nor did he steal the van they were riding around in. He did not have a weapon, never handled the weapon, wasn't on the scene when kilgore and brown robbed and stole the car in question in this case. But he was convicted of all those things includung murder! Dorian has no prior record either. He was and still is , a good kid that caught up in a bad situation by making dumb decsions about who to hang with! all of the other defendants in this case have a long list of priors. See what I mean about bad choice of company. Dorian recieved an completely unjust sentence of 28 years to life while his co-defendant who ran with him away from the scene received only 5 years and remain in juvenile system! Go fiqure that one out for justice!! By the way, dorian was only 16 at the time of the crime took place! The prosecutor conspired to keep him in the county until he was 18 after he was bound over to start his trail. Dorian did not received nor was he offered a plea either. The fix was in! Dorian had a court appointed lawyer who could care less! He was not capitol murder trail lawyer which is why he wanted a bench trail for lack of experience! did not have a clue as to how to represent and present a defense for my son!
