The show took place on February 6, 2014, at the very fashionable Empire Hotel in the Crystal Room, befitting for a collection this stunning. Many celebrity fans of the designer made sure they attended to catch a glimpse of her newest additions to gowns that they are so fond of. Miss United States, Candiace Dillard, along with Broadway Star and Chicago Poster Girl, Angel Reda, and World Champion Ballroom Dancer, Sasha Perzhu, all enjoyed this newest and most original collection.

Dore Designs knows how to bathe a woman in beauty for all to envy and admire. Any one item from this collection will make you look at the color black in a whole different light. The little black dress is transformed with a fringe bottom or a flouncy ruffle bottom. Women live for the moment in dresses and gowns adorned in beads, sequins, embroidery and jewels. The looks were sexy and sophisticated at the very same time. A tier of tiny buttons were seen on some of the shoulders of various pieces.

Dawn Smart describes the type of woman that inspired her 2014 collection as empowered, strong and a stand-out in a crowd. She has international influences and a European flair. She creates the latest trend with head-turning pieces that go so well with timeless separates, creating a long-term fashion statement.

Viewing the pieces that were shown on the runway, you can see the amazing amount of intricate detail and impeccable quality that go into producing such fine designs. Swarovski Elements has been in partnership with Dore Designs season after season. This collection featured French corded lace, luxurious Italian stretch fabrics, English wool and cashmere knits, Indian silk, hand-painting and sumptuous designer weight jersey.

A dazzling cape was worn over a sheer blouse with black shorts and knee-high boots resembling military attire in the smallest way. Who would have ever imagined that crop tops could be worn for a formal evening event?

Jewelry was kept to a minimum to let the pieces speak for themselves and to let them shine under the glistening chandelier but red lips portrayed glamour in the first degree.

The event partners and sponsors included Swarovski Elements, Styling was done by Dawn Del Russo of BellaDawn. Hair looked extremely chic done by Boyko & Co. . Makeup was applied to perfection by Valerie Vonprisk with Yaby Cosmetics, DJ Von Kiss, Bella Belle Shoes, Dollhouse Shoes and Green2O Water.
