Temps will soon be rising and Harrah’s Resort has enlisted the help of some of the greatest groups of the 50s and 60s to help the warm-up effort. If you're a fan of that bygone era or simply enjoy a little R&B, the only place you need to be is at Harrah’s every Thursday in March when the resort will feature some superb legendary musical acts.

March 6: The Flamingos

The Flamingos have been universally hailed by Billboard Magazine as one of the finest and most influential vocal groups in pop music history. Their music is defined as elegant and sophisticated, including such chart-topping singles as “I Only Have Eyes For You” and “Ko Ko Mo.”

March 13: The Platters with Danny and the Juniors

The Platters were one of the most successful vocal groups of the early Rock and Roll era. Their many hits include “Only You,” “Smoke Gets In Your Eyes” and “The Great Pretender.”

Danny and the Juniors are the famed doo-wop quartet hailing from neighbor city Philadelphia with their hit single “At the Hop.”

March 20: The Crystals and Shirley Reeves of the Shirelles

The Crystals were one of the most notable girl groups in the 1960s, charting with hits like "Da Doo Ron Ron (When He Walked Me Home)" and "Then He Kissed Me."

Shirley Reeves was the lead member of The Shirelles, the first girl group to earn a spot on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart with their most popular song, "Will You Love Me Tomorrow.”

March 27: The Fifth Dimension

The Fifth Dimension is an American popular music vocal group, whose repertoire also includes pop, R&B, soul, and jazz. They were best known for chart toppers like "Up, Up and Away", "Stoned Soul Picnic", "Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In", "Wedding Bell Blues", "One Less Bell to Answer" and "(Last Night) I Didn't Get to Sleep at All."
