Donovan to headline David Lynch Foundation benefit in Los Angeles this month

Donovan and his daughter Astrella will headline a benefit concert for the David Lynch Foundation March 19 at the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles.

Proceeds from the concert willl benefit the foundation, which provides funds to teach meditation. Donovan, along with Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Ben Harper, Eddie Vedder and others, performed at a David Lynch Foundation benefit concert at Radio City Music Hall last year. The foundation has reportedly provided scholarships to over 100,000 students in inner-city schools worldwide for that purpose.
 

The show will include musicians associated with Sheryl Crow, Suzanne Vega, Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver and others.

Both ($25) and VIP tickets ($110) — which includes a meet-and-greet with Donovan and the other artists after the show — are available for purchase through Ticketmaster.
