During the nationwide “Donny & Marie Christmas Tour,” for every discounted ticket bought through a special website link, Donny and Marie will contribute $5 to the American Humane Association. In addition, tour producers are offering a special limited-time “Puppy Love” discount of $5 off per ticket for American Humane Association supporters.

At select tour stops, a portion of the new documentary “Red Star™ Rescue in Oklahoma” will be shown. This powerful film from acclaimed filmmaker Ric Burns’s Steeplechase Films describes the story of what life was like for American Humane Association’s legendary Red Star™ animal rescue team during a month-long deployment in Moore, Oklahoma. On May 20, a deadly EF-5 tornado struck the town, leaving the team to rescue and care for the four-legged tornado victims.

“I have a lifelong love of animals and children, and it is my pleasure to work with such an historical organization as American Humane Association,” Donny Osmond said. “I was especially touched by the work their Red Star™ team did this spring in Oklahoma, and everyone who takes advantage of our exclusive Christmas tour ticket offer will not only get to see a great show, but will help support a wonderful cause.”

The “Donny and Marie Christmas Tour” runs through December 21st. For dates, cities and to take advantage of the “Puppy Love” special ticket offer please visit and enter passcode ‘puppylove’. The documentary “Red Star™ Rescue in Oklahoma” can be watched in it’s entirety at the American Humane Association's website.

Donny Osmond recently made four American Humane Association public service announcements spreading the organization’s enduring message of compassion, caring, and hope for building a more humane world, especially for children and animals. The PSA’s can be seen on the American Humane Association’s Facebook page.

Over the course of five decades, Donny Osmond has earned 33 gold records, with sales of more than 100 million albums. His 60th album is scheduled to be released in 2014.

The American Humane Association is the nation’s first national humane organization, and the only one dedicated to protecting both children and animals.
