The 2nd Annual Gospel Goes to Hollywood Awards Luncheon will be hosted by Grammy Award winner Donnie McClurkin and actress Wendy Raquel Robinson. The luncheon will be held Friday, Feb. 22 at the historical Taglyan Cultural Complex in Hollywood, Calif.
Sony executive DeVon Franklin will be one of the 2013 Honorees. Other honorees will be announced soon. Recording artist J. Kingdom will kick off the show followed by Christian singer Ami Rushes and the Grammy Award winning duo Mary Mary.
This event was considered a large success last year in Hollywood and event organizers promise that this year will continue in that tradition. The event is held is to raise awareness and funds in support of the fight against domestic violence.
According to a press release, festivities will began with a high-powered-red-carpet and pre-reception on the lavishly landscaped courtyard of Taglyan. Guests will enjoy delectable pass trays and mimosa before entering the venue adorned by beautiful floral designs by Tic-Tock Couture Floral.
Hundreds of guests, celebrities, industry legends and some of today's hottest artist will be in attendance as Hollywood actors/actresses, TV/Film directors and producers all gather to "Celebrate The Faith" during Oscar Week.
