While The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters might have made household names of Donkey Kong champs Billy Mitchell and Steve Wiebe, the man who beat them both will now have his own.

Doctor Kong: Cutting Up the Competition is a short 17-minute documentary film about Hank Chien, the New York plastic surgeon who has made international headlines twice now for taking the Donkey Kong World Record, most recently with a 1,068,000 point score verified and announced just last week.

The short film will cover Chien's journey toward Donkey Kong stardom from late 2009 until his successful crowning as the champion in 2010 and the media explosion and aftermath that followed. The filming and production of the short documentary was done by actress and filmmaker Alexis Neophytides.

Unlike King of Kong, which exaggerated and fabricated much of the drama as it appears in the film, Doctor Kong is set to tell the tale without creating controversy.

"I had a chance to watch the documentary recently and thoroughly enjoyed it," Chien said. "The film is completely drama free, completely accurate and very professional. I would classify it as a feel good comedy."
